Mais uma da terra das tulipas... Esta espera pelo sou dono, junto à Igreja Velha de Katwijk, também conhecida por Andreaskerk (Igreja de André) em honra do apóstolo André, padroeiro dos pescadores.

Another one from the land of tulips... This awaits its owner by the Old Church of Katwijk also known as Andreaskerk (Church of Andrew) in honour of the apostle Andrew, patron of the fishermen.

0288 - Vissersweduwe met zoon

Mais uma da terra das tulipas... Esta espera pelo sou dono, junto à Igreja Velha de Katwijk e à velha estátua de granito Vissersweduwe met zoon (viúva de pescador com o filho) datada de 1930, do escultor Simon Louis Willem van der Noordaa, inaugurada pela Princesa Juliana, em memória dos pescadores de Katwijk que morreram na Primeira Guerra Mundial.

Another one from the land of tulips... This one awaits her owner by the old church of Katwijk and the old statue in granite Vissersweduwe met zoon (Fisherman's widow with son) dated from 1930, by the sculptor Simon Louis Willem van der Noordaa, inaugurated by Princess Juliana, in memory of the fishermen from Katwijk that died in the First World War.

Um dia de sol em Katwijk aan Zee, uma praia junto ao mar do Norte... Desde 1968 que o Farol está aberto os visitantes no Verão, através dos voluntários do Museu Katwijk. A partir de 1980, o barco de pesca de camarão KW 88 'Zorg en Hoop' - Problemas e Esperança - é também exibido junto à torre do farol nos meses de verão.

A sunny day in Katwijk aan Zee, a beach by the North Sea... Since 1968 that the lighthouse is open to visitors in the Summer, through the volunteers of the Katwijk Museum. After 1980, the fishing boat KM 88 'Zorg en Hoop' - Problems and Hope - is also exhibited by the lighthouse tower in the months of Summer.
