Um adulto transporta uma criança numa cadeira própria para o efeito, montada por cima da roda traseira da bicicleta. O ambiente agradece, a crianças adora, a saúde melhora, a família mantém-se unida e a sociedade muda de paradigma.

Estamos no concelho do país onde maior percentagem da população ativa se desloca de bicicleta no seu quotidiano: 15%. Para além disso, tem uma rede registada de Ecovias para o turista em bicicleta se aventurar e descobrir os modos de vida e tradições ligadas à agricultura, lavoura e pesca. E no final do passeio, podemos ainda desmontar da bici e dar uns mergulhos no Atlântico. Uma região única, a não perder, onde as bicicleta se emprestam gratuitamente aos turistas que a visitam.

We are in the country's municipality with the biggest percentage of active population that use the bike daily as mean of transportation: 15%. In addition it has a registered network of cycle paths for the cycling tourist to adventure and discover means of life and traditions related to agriculture, farming and fishing. And by the end of the travel, one can dismount the bike and swim in the Atlantic. A unique region, not to be missed, where bicycles are lent for free to the tourists that visit it.
