Debaixo da ponte cabe muita coisa e "mora" muita coisa também, até umas dezenas de bicicletas, pelo menos durante parte do dia, mas não é de admirar que algumas moram mesmo por aqui o tempo todo.

There is room for lots of things under the bridge and lots of things "live" there as well, even tenths of bicycles, at least during part of the day but it is not surprising that some really live here all the time.

Mais uma da terra das socas... Uma bicicleta comprada na BOB, que é como quem diz, Bob Orange Bicycles. Engraçado arranjarem uma sigla que explica o primeiro nome sem explicar.

 - "O que é a BOB?" 

 - "É a Bob Orange Bicycles!" 

 - "OK, mas de onde vem o Bob?" 

 - "Vem de Bob Orange Bicycles..."

Another one from the land of clogs...A bicycle bought at BOB, that stands for Bob Orange Bicycles. It's funny they came up with an acronym that explains the first name without explaining.

 - "What is BOB?"

 - "It's Bob Orange Bicycles!"

 - "OK but Bob comes from what?"

 - "It comes from Bob Orange Bicycles..."

Mais uma da terra das tulipas. Esta está estacionada junto ao Stadsschouwburg, o Teatro Municipal de Amesterdão, na Leidseplein. É um edifício do estilo neo-renascentista que antes era a antiga casa do Ballet Nacional e da  Opera.

Another one from the land of tulips. This is parked next to Stadsschouwburg, the Theater Municipal of Amsterdam, in the Leidseplein. It is a building of the Neo-Renaissance style that was once the former home of the National Ballet and Opera.

A bicicleta decorada com flores de plástico, um adereço comum aqui pelos Países Baixos, serve de introdução às lojas que abundam no Overtoom, uma das principais ruas de comércio e serviços de Amesterdão. Aqui se vêem 2 lojas interessantes: uma livraria dita especialista em viagens a pé e de bicicleta, e uma loja oficial da Brompton.

The bicycle decorated with plastic flowers, a common prop here in the Low Countries, serves as introduction to the the stores that abound in the Overtoom, one of Amsterdam's prime shopping streets. Here 2 interesting stores are seen: one travel bookshop said specialist in walking and cycling trips, and an official Brompton store.

Another one from the land of dikes... The Christmas lights in the streets of Amsterdam and the outskirts are nothing special, but in the centre's fancy street, where the good stores are located, the lightning is more elaborated and the bicycles get a special glow...
