A bicicleta poderia ser um monumento nacional mas neste caso ele é a estrutura que se vê atrás, um monumento à 2ª Guerra Mundial de 1956, dedicado às vítimas desse e dos subsequentes conflitos. É aqui que a 4 de Maio de todos os anos os Holandeses celebram o Dodenherdenking, a Memória dos Mortos...

The bicycle could be a national monument but in this case it is the structure in the background, a 1956 World War II monument, dedicated to all of the casualties of that and subsequent conflicts. It is here that on the 4th of May every year the Dutch people celebrate Dodenherdenking, Remembrance of the Dead.
